A student from a Shropshire school has chosen Harper Adams to help her to apply for a science award that will assist with her application to university.
Annie Bradshaw, who is currently enrolled at Adams' Grammar School in Newport, is working on a research project as part of her application for the British Science Association's CREST Award scheme.
She hopes that completing the Gold level award will help to enhance her personal statement when she applies to study for a zoology degree.
The CREST Award schemes are a range of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) enrichment activities aimed at inspiring 5-19 year-olds. The top award is Gold level and allows able students aged 16-19 to conduct real research projects.
For her project, Annie has been surveying small mammals in a variety of habitats on the Harper Adams campus with help from university staff.
