Christina Faulder, 22, from Bolton, Lancashire, graduated from Harper Adams University at the end of September with a first-class honours degree in animal behaviour and welfare, and as winner of The Roberts Prize. The prize is presented in recognition of the best final year project by a student on one of the foundation degree or BSc degree animal courses at the university. Lecturer Helen Cartlidge said: “Christina has been a consistently high-achieving student throughout her time at Harper Adams University. She receives the Roberts Prize for her honours research project that she conducted on the ovi-position preference of two different types of aphid and the effect this had on larval performance.”
