Tom won the Frontier Agriculture Trophy after achieving the highest overall grades of any student on the BSc Agriculture with Crop Management course. Agriculture courses manager Dr Russell Readman said: “Tom demonstrated excellent performance in his final year studies, achieving a first class honours degree.

“Tom’s Honours Research Project investigated the use of biofumigation to control rhizoctonia solani and was an excellent piece of work. Tom has taken up a graduate position with Hutchinsons as a Trainee Agronomist.”
