“We learnt sales in a fun and interesting way, what used to be a scary thought now seems easy”
A group of Business students from Harper Adams studied a one-day commercial sales course to develop sales skills in preparation for their placement year.
Business Course Manager Pam Whitehouse said the one-day course was highly participative and enabled the students to practice core skills in structured selling. The training was carried out by Angela Groom who has extensive sales training experience with Coca Cola.
The students really enjoyed the day and made comments such as:
“Will not feel as if I'm going into placement with no knowledge of what to do. I would feel confident if someone asked me to sell whereas before the course I had no idea”
