Open doors at Harper Adams
Posted 13 April 2006
HARPER Adams University College will throw open its doors next month for a public open day.
Anybody interested in finding out more about the UK’s premier university college for the land-based industries is invited.
Teenagers and their parents with an interest in the rural, food and land based industries are particularly welcome.
Current students and staff will be on hand to give visitors a first-hand look of all the campus has to offer, including many new facilities.
Professor Wynne Jones, Principal at Harper Adams, commented on the event: “This is a fantastic opportunity for people to come and see what this prestigious university college has to offer.
“Both prospective students and their parents can get a real feel of the place during the open day.
“We are exceptionally proud of Harper Adams and the many exciting developments here. We want to share all we have to offer with members of the public as well as students.”
Youngsters who want to experience more of Harper Adams after the Open Day in May are invited to the annual two-day Higher Education Choices conference (HEC) on July 10th and 11th
