Using other academic libraries - SCONUL Access

SCONUL Access  allows many university library users to borrow or use books and journals at other libraries which belong to the scheme. The scheme covers most of the university libraries in the UK and Ireland.

The scheme has now re-opened and is free to join

Staff, postgraduates, distance learners and undergraduates on placement will normally be allowed to borrow books, whereas undergraduates not on placement will only be allowed reference access.
