Using other academic libraries - SCONUL Access

SCONUL Access is a scheme which allows many university library users to borrow or use books and journals at other libraries which belong to the scheme. The scheme covers most of the university libraries in the UK and Ireland.

For the moment the scheme is suspended due to the pandemic, but it is hoped that it will start running again from mid-November. SCONUL have provided more information on the situation.

Staff, postgraduates, distance learners and undergraduates on placement will normally be allowed to borrow books, whereas undergraduates not on placement will only be allowed reference access.
