Develop further your skills in finding and using information.

To use information successfully in your work you need a good understanding of:

  • what is the right sort of information for your particular purpose
  • where is the best place to search for that sort of information
  • how to search effectively so that you don’t waste time and that you find the best information
  • how to decide whether a piece of information is worth using – evaluation
  • how to use the information in your work

The different pages within this section will help you achieve this understanding.
