Whether you want to find a book, an electronic journal article or other electronic information you can start your search in the same place, the simple search box on every library webpage.

HARLO (Harper Adams Reading Lists Online)

You can find recommended reading for all your modules via HARLO. You can search via the Find Lists tab and then either module code, title or lecturers name. Alternatively you can browse department via the department drop down list.

You can find these in our alphabetical list of databases:

  • Business Source Complete - Business Source Complete is the industry's most popular business research database, featuring the full text for more than 2,200 journals. Full text is provided back to 1965.

  • Emerald Business, Management and Strategy eJournal Collection - Key topics covered in our Business Management & Strategy eBook Collection include strategic management, innovation and economic growth, corporate social responsibility and social media in management.

  • Financial Times - Use the link on the database page to register for the Financial Times.

  • IGD Retail Analysis - Insights into over 400 retailers and current trends. Only available on campus.

  • IGD Supply Chain Analysis - Insights into supply chain news and trends. Only available on campus.

  • Mintel - Market research reports on food and drink in the UK, China food and drink, China retail and China lifestyles.

  • Passport from Euromonitor - A global market research tool which provides strategic analysis as well as being a market size and market share database for products across key countries. It also contains information about consumers, the business environment, trade and the infrastructure of many countries.

  • Statista - Statistical data on over 80,000 topics from 22,500 sources.

  • UK Data Archive - UK Data Archive is a curator of the largest collection of digital data in the social sciences and humanities in the UK.

  • Eurostat: Your key to european statistics - Eurostat is the statistical office of the European Union situated in Luxembourg. Its mission is to provide high quality statistics for Europe.

  • Office for National Statistics - UK's largest independent producer of official statistics and is the recognised national statistical institute for the UK.

  • Northcote - This free tool links to listed company information. It provides an archive of company reports from many companies.

  • Coronavirus Research Database - A free database provided by Proquest giving access to research done on the Coronavirus. An excellent search tool for those doing assignments or dissertations looking at the impact of the coronavirus.

  • Taylor & Francis Open Access Business E-books - A collection of open access e-books on Economics, Finance, Business and Industry made available through Taylor & Francis.
