Two Harper Research students - Eugenia Fezza and Maria Damascena were recently invited to speak at the Teagasc Entomology Conference held on the 5th September at Oak Park Crops Research Centre, Carlow, Ireland. Through this - Harper Adams and Teagasc inititative talks were presented, highlighting ongoing research projects and strengthening the collarboration between the two insititutes. Eugenia described her work 'to improve monitoring of the vine weevil adults in soft fruit and ornamental crops' while Maria presented her work on 'sustainable approaches to the management of barley yellow dwarf virus vectors'.
