Agriculture placement: Wayne Travas

Final year BSc (Hons) Agriculture with Mechanisation student, Wayne Travas, travelled to Africa for his placement year, to work for John Deere.

The 22-year-old from Tanzania wanted a placement that would be beneficial to him when he returns to his home country after graduation.

As well as travelling to various different African countries, Wayne was able to apply his skills to product launches, demonstrations and farm visits.
