A delegation from Brawijaya University in Indonesia recently visited Harper Adams to further develop links between the two institutions.
The Rector of Brawijaya University, Professor Dr. Ir. Mohammad Bisri, and several members of his senior staff met Harper Adams Vice Chancellor Dr David Llewellyn, research coordinator Professor Peter Kettlewell, Director of Learning and Teaching Andy Jones, International Programmes Coordinator Keith Walley and Taught Postgraduate Programmes Manager Mitch Crook.
The visit was arranged following a series of talks and meetings in Indonesian universities by Fittonia Elgina, Indonesian PhD researcher at Harper Adams, who also joined the meeting.
The Harper Adams Vice-Chancellor and Brawijaya University Rector signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities.
Just one week later, our Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Peter Mills, travelled to Indonesia as part of a UK Universities’ delegation where he again met with Brawijaya colleagues to discuss potential for collaboration and international links with Harper Adams.
