Harper Adams University is delighted to announce that the industry partner for the Rabobank Scholarship 2018 is world-leading bovine genetics company, Genus ABS.
Managing Director of Rabobank UK Global Corporate Clients, James Cass, said: “Supporting a new generation of talented individuals to enter the agri-food sector is a vital cornerstone of ensuring long term food security for the world’s ever growing population.

First year students going into their second year in 2018/19 are invited to apply for the Rabobank Scholarship – the highest value award offered by the University’s Development Trust. The successful recipient will receive funding provided by Rabobank valued at £18,000 over two academic years and a one year paid work placement with Genus.

We see this investment into the next generation of potential agricultural students as crucial for the sustainability of UK & Global Agriculture.”
The scholarship opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to develop a career with a world leading bovine genetics company dedicated to innovation. During their placement year the scholar will gain experience in a variety of areas, including sales, service roles, group presenting and marketing, as well as some opportunities to represent the company at technical events.
