Harper Adams University continues to rewrite the record books as it enters the top 30 in the THE Table of Tables 2020 in 25th place. The news comes after the university secured Modern University of the Year and runner-up for UK University of the Year in The Times & The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.

Harper Adams University is one of only two new top 30 entrants, sharing 25th place with other newcomer the University for the Creative Arts, onto the table that offers a snapshot of how UK universities are viewed by national newspapers.

Vice Chancellor Dr David Llewellyn said: “Breaking into the top 30 of the Times Higher Education Table of Tables is the latest success for Harper Adams in a remarkable year for the University. We develop and deliver specialist subjects that address vital global issues, whilst providing our students with a strong and supportive academic experience that will serve them well in their careers. We believe that our outstanding staff, extensive industry connections and ground breaking research lie behind our recent success.  We will continue to bring this winning combination to bear on some of the biggest challenges facing humankind in the years ahead.”

The THE Table of Tables is calculated by giving the 30 top-ranked institutions in league tables compiled by The Good University Guide published by The Times and The Sunday Times, The Guardian and The Complete University Guide points corresponding to their position.

2019 has very much been Harper Adams University’s year after the university climbed into the elite top 20 of The Times universities league table while also achieving the title of Modern University of the Year. In succeeding in the The Times & The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020, editor Alastair McCall lauded Harper Adams University for having ‘rewritten the record books by elbowing its way into the elite top 20’.
