In September 2004 we launched two degree programmes with Beijing Agricultural College:
Through these programmes, you can study international business, food quality and retailing in a multi-cultural environment. You will normally start by studying a Foundation course at BAC, which includes intensive English language study. The following two years of your degree are taught at BAC in English. Your final year will be spent studying at Harper Adams in the UK.
The opportunity to study in the UK will give you a chance to practice the skills you've learnt in a new cultural environment. When you complete your studies, you'll graduate with a degree from both BAC and Harper Adams University.
For more information about both of these degree programmes, please visit the Beijing Agricultural College's website.
According to the UN, 46.3% of China's working population are employed in the agricultural sector, the majority of which is food orientated. With a degree in BSc/BSc (Hons) International Agri-food Marketing and Supply Chain Management from Harper Adams University and Huazhong Agricultural University (HZAU), you'll be equipped with the expertise and knowledge to join this important industry.
On this programme, you'll complete the first two years of your studies at HZAU (Foundation and Year 1). Your final two years will be taught at Harper Adams University - the UK's largest university specialising in agri-food marketing and supply chain management.
The opportunity to study in the UK will give you a chance to make international contacts, boost your confidence and expand your view of the world. When you complete your studies, you'll graduate with a degree from both HZAU and Harper Adams University.
