The Development Trust team was delighted to welcome Roger Kerr, Chief Executive of Organic Farmers & Growers to the University today to interview shortlisted candidates for the Organic Farmers & Growers Scholarship 2017/18, in memory of Bill Allen.
The opportunity was open to those with the offer of a conditional or unconditional place on the MSc Agroecology programme at Harper Adams University, commencing study in Autumn 2017. The successful recipient will receive an award valued at £4,000 for the academic year that they study on campus at the University.
Interviewees were asked to give a presentation on how they see 'sustainable food production' fitting into the broader food economy and in particular how this would fit into the macro food production environment.
