We were delighted to see the Weston Lecture Theatre full of prospective scholars for the pig and poultry industry scholarship schemes earlier today. Andrew Brodie, HR and Communications Director of Faccenda Foods, represented the British Poultry Council (BPC) and Harper Adams Alumnus Samantha Bowsher, Skills Development Coordinator for the Pig Industry, talked about career opportunities in their respective sectors in advance of the Scholarship Fair in QMH on Thursday 26 October from 11am to 2pm.
We were also joined by some former scholars of the BPC and Pig Industry Scholarship schemes. Now in their final year at HAU they shared their experiences of placements with Rattlerow, ForFarmers and Faccenda with second year students looking to secure a placement.
