Focus on Moy Park placement with scholarship opportunity via the BPC Scholarship Scheme

Fantastic opportunity to secure a paid placement via the British Poultry Council scholarship scheme with one of the UK’s top 15 food companies, plus a contribution towards your fees of up to £9k!

Based in Northern Ireland you will work in a variety of roles throughout the Agriculture GB remit, including mills, breeders, hatcheries, broilers and estate management. You will experience all aspects of the agriculture business at Moy Park.

If you have a particular area of interest the programme can be flexible and there is the opportunity to agree a bespoke placement to accommodate your interests/preferences.  Moy Park’s agricultural heritage stretches back to 1943, they supply around 25% of the total Western European chicken parent market and they are the UK’s largest producer of organic and free range chicken. Emily Hughes is now in the final year of Agri-Food Marketing foundation degree at Harper Adams after being awarded the scholarship in 2016 and she has recently completed her placement at Moy Park.

“I first heard of the award at the scholarship fair held at Harper Adams. I was really interested in a scholarship as I knew it would look really good on my future CV and that the extra money would be useful for tuition fees.
