
On offer is either one specialist role for the whole 12 months, or three 4 month rotations spanning duck breeding, commercial duck growing and seasonal poultry (turkey and goose). This would depend on you and your interests and the needs of the business at the time.
Gressingham Foods/Green Label Poultry Ltd is offering a scholarship as part of the British Poultry Council Scholarship scheme. It includes, initially up to £4500 towards course fees in the student penultimate academic year, followed by a paid placement with salary of £16250 and a further £4500 may be paid in the final year, subject to review following placement.
Due to their integrated farming/production system, they are able to offer a variety of career paths to graduates, spanning farm management, hatchery management and technical management.
