Countryside students at Harper Adams University spent the week learning about ecology and different environments during a field trip to Devon.
All students during their first year are invited to take part in the study week, which takes place at Slapton Ley Field Study Centre in Kingsbridge.
During the trip, students are taught how to conduct field research, before completing and submitting their own group project on a subject of their choice.
The work load is more intense than usual, with a jam-packed schedule exploring a variety of different environments that are inaccessible from the university campus in Shropshire.
The trip is a highlight of the year for many, increasing not only their knowledge, but also their confidence amongst their peers.
