Information for New Students

New undergrads - things to remember!

• There are lots of ways to get individual help as well : Email libhelp@harper-adams.ac.uk 
• Use Libchat on the Libary home page
• Contact us using Microsoft Teams
• Book time with a librarian for more in-depth help. The appointments are carried out on Teams.
• Student Union Guide to Using the Library
• You may borrow up to 30  books and DVDs at a time for free from the Library
• Normally all items are issued for seven days in the first instance, then renew automatically each day. The item is always due back in seven days until someone else requests it, you have had the item for twelve months or your account expires. At the moment while most students are not on campus we are not expecting people to return their books. Please do however keep track of your books as you will be expected to return them eventually
• If an item with a request on it is returned a day late there is a £1 per day fine.
• For the moment you need to request a book so that we can get it for you using the Click and Collect Service
• You can see what items you have on loan by going to My account
• If a book isn't available please do still request it so that we know there is a demand for it and may be able to help.
